Annie

Hi, I'm Annie! I have worked in the travel industry for many years, focusing on creating thoughtful and culturally rich travel experiences across China. My career began with a simple intention: to help travelers understand the stories, people, and traditions behind the places they visit. Over time, this intention has guided me to specialize in destinations that hold deep historical and cultural importance, including Xi’an, Beijing, Chengde, Chengdu, and Zhangjiajie.

My interest in Chinese history naturally drew me to Xi’an and Beijing. In Xi’an, I have spent years exploring not only the world‑famous Terracotta Army but also the quieter corners of the ancient city walls, old neighborhoods, and traditional food streets. In Beijing, I continue to study the layers of imperial culture, from the Forbidden City to the alleys of the hutongs. These cities constantly remind me that history is not just found in museums and monuments, but also in the everyday life of local communities.

Chengde became another important destination in my work because of its unique role as a place where different cultures once met. Guiding travelers through the Mountain Resort and surrounding temples has helped me appreciate the city’s blend of natural beauty and political history. In Chengdu, I focus on food culture, local storytelling, and the gentle rhythm of Sichuan life. Whether introducing visitors to the traditions of tea houses or the conservation work behind the giant panda base, I enjoy showing the modern spirit that defines the region.

My approach to travel is simple: listen carefully, plan thoughtfully, and guide with sincerity. I believe every traveler deserves more than a checklist of attractions; they deserve a well‑crafted experience that connects them with the heart of each destination.
