Hello,I'm David. I have devoted over 25 years to the cultural tourism industry, a journey that has allowed me to share China’s rich history and traditions with travelers from around the world. As a National Top-Level English Tour Guide and National Gold Medal Tour Guide recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, I see these honors not only as achievements, but also as a responsibility to present authentic and meaningful cultural experiences.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to contribute to the broader development of cultural tourism. I serve as a Special Invited Advisor to the Tourism Marketing Branch of the China Tourism Association and as a member of the Continuing Education Expert Database of the Chinese Association of Natural Science Museums. These roles give me the opportunity to support industry growth while continuing to learn from fellow professionals.
I am also honored to work as a Specially Appointed Expert on Cultural Tourism and Chinese Culture Lectures at the China-ASEAN Center, where I engage in cultural exchange and help introduce China’s heritage to a wider international audience. My role as the Beijing Central Axis Cultural Communication Ambassador (2022–2024) has been particularly meaningful, as it allows me to share the historical significance of Beijing’s central axis and contribute to the preservation of its cultural legacy.
In addition, I serve as Director of the Culture Committee of the Beijing Dongcheng Non-Party Intellectuals Association, where I support community-based cultural initiatives. As a speaker, I have had the privilege of presenting topics such as “600 Years of the Forbidden City,” hoping to make history accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. I also contribute as a Think Tank Expert for China Youth Travel Service Group, offering insights into the future of cultural tourism.
I believe that travel is not only about seeing new places, but about understanding the stories behind them. It is my goal to help every traveler connect more deeply with China’s culture, history, and people through thoughtful and enriching experiences.
