• Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an easy orientation walk nearby or simply rest after your journey.

Day 2 – Luoyang: Longmen Grottoes & Classic Temples

1. Morning – Longmen Grottoes

• Drive to the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site regarded as a treasure house of Northern Wei and Tang Buddhist art, with tens of thousands of images carved into the cliffs along the Yi River.

• Walk the paths between caves and niches, stopping by key areas such as Fengxian Temple.

2. Afternoon/Evening – Kaifeng Old City Atmosphere

• Arrive in Kaifeng and check into your hotel near key historic quarters.

• Take a gentle walk around the old town to feel the contrast between modern streets and preserved gates, walls, and lakes.

• In the evening, if time allows, your guide can take you to a local night market to try Kaifeng snacks and see how street life echoes what you will see in the “Qingming” themed park the next day.

Day 4 – Kaifeng: “Along the River During Qingming Festival” Brought to Life
