Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Wuhan
Welcome to Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province. Upon arrival at the airport or train station, your guide and driver will meet you and escort you to your hotel in a private vehicle.
The rest of the day is free for you to rest and settle in. If you wish, you may take a light walk nearby to get your first impression of this lively city built around its rivers and lakes.

Day 2 – Hubei Provincial Museum, East Lake & Yellow Crane Tower
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing at the Hubei Provincial Museum. With its vast collection, this is one of the best places to understand the region’s long history and material culture. A highlight here is the live presentation of ancient chime bells and stone instruments, which offers a vivid taste of China’s musical heritage.
Continue to East Lake Scenic Area, where you can enjoy a relaxing walk among the lake views, plum gardens, and bamboo forests. The setting is ideal for a slower pace and a more peaceful side of Wuhan.
Later, visit the Yellow Crane Tower, a famous city symbol and one of the most recognizable landmarks in central China. From the top, you will have a broad view of Wuhan’s skyline and river landscape.

Day 3 – Guiyuan Buddhist Temple & Transfer to Wudang Mountain
This morning, visit Guiyuan Buddhist Temple, an important Zen temple in Hubei with a long history and a serene atmosphere. Wander through its halls and courtyards, and take in the temple’s calm, prayer-filled environment.
After the visit, transfer to the train station for your bullet train journey to Wudang Mountain, which takes about two hours. When you arrive, your local guide will meet you and bring you to your hotel near the mountain area.

Day 4 – Wudang Mountain: Yuxu Palace & Nanyan Palace
Spend today exploring the sacred landscapes of Wudang Mountain, a place known for Taoist culture, mountain scenery, and traditional internal martial arts.
Start with Yuxu Palace, the largest palace complex on Wudang Mountain. Its grand scale and layered courtyards make it an excellent introduction to the mountain’s religious and architectural heritage.
Continue to Nanyan Palace, dramatically built on a cliffside. The location alone makes it memorable, and it is one of the best places to feel the spiritual atmosphere of Wudang.
Along the way, your guide will explain how Taoism, architecture, and mountain worship are closely connected here.
Overnight in Wudang Mountain.
Day 5 – Golden Palace, Taizi Po Palace, Zixiao Palace & Martial Arts
Today is the highlight of the Wudang journey. Take the round-trip cable car up to the Golden Palace, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the mountain range and appreciate one of Wudang’s most revered sacred sites.
On the way down, visit Taizi Po Palace, where the prince once studied, and see the surviving murals, stone cases, ink objects, and ancient books connected with its scholarly past.
Then continue to Zixiao Palace, where you can learn more about Taoist daily life and practice. The day ends with a martial arts learning session led by a kung fu master, giving you a direct and memorable introduction to Wudang-style movement and discipline.
Overnight in Wudang Mountain.
Day 6 – Wudang Museum & Departure
Before leaving, visit the Wudang Museum to complete your understanding of the mountain’s heritage. The exhibitions highlight architectural parts, Taoist deities, and religious objects, helping you connect the sites you visited with their historical background.
After lunch, your guide and driver will escort you to the train station for your return trip to Wuhan. From there, continue to your departure flight and conclude your journey.
